Valve has had only 2 logos throughout its 27 years of operation, it has not changed much at all due to the iconic look and style of the logo. The only reason for changing their logo back in 2018 was because it was minimalistic despite the old logo also being very minimalistic.

Company History 
Valve was founded in 1996 by former Microsoft employees Gabe Newell and Mike Harrington. Happy with Valve's success, Harrington left in 2000. In 2002, Valve launched Steam, a digital storefront and delivery platform. In 2003, Valve moved to Bellevue, Washington, and reincorporated as Valve Corporation. Valve is the main developer and publisher of the single-player Half-Life and Portal games and the multiplayer games Counter-Strike, Team Fortress 2, Dota 2, Day of Defeat, and Artifact.]]> 2023-04-14 17:05:10 UTC https://padlet.com/kzb079884/u3mek5nb9tonnx8v/wish/2554800515 kzb079884 https://padlet.com/kzb079884/u3mek5nb9tonnx8v/wish/2554800566 My aim of redesigning Valves logo is not to change it ENTIRELY because it is too iconic, rather just add on a few references towards their branding or a reference from one of their games while reverting back to their classic 1996 design of black and white as their logos colour scheme. once again their logo is too iconic to change drastically but to the point where it is still very recognizable as VALVe Software.

#1: Add the logo from their best selling and well known series "Half Life" which is a Lambda (λ) into the V of valve. The Half Life logo has always had a circle around the lambda so involve the circle within it too.

#2: Same idea with #1 but keep add a literal valve under the letter E, just a play on words (i guess?) cause they are literally named "Valve".

#3: Make the E a valve or attempt to make it look like one or connected towards one. The style mimics the original 1996 logo with black and white for a colour scheme, plain and simple along with it being eye catching. It also adds the Lambda symbol (λ) into the V of valve which is the logo of their best selling series named "Half Life". The font stays the same due to consistency of the company. (Titling Gothic Narrow Medium, which is a grotesque sans serif font designed by David Berlow and published by Font Bureau.)
