• Global R&D Career Salon in Korea는 한국에서 재직하거나 재학중인 외국인 연구자의 경력개발과 연구 네트워크 형성을 위해, 참여자 상호간의 한국 R&D수행경험과 경력개발 노하우 등을 공유하고 전수하는 상호 교류/학습 프로그램 입니다.

2. 본 프로그램의 참여 대상은 어떻게 되나요?

• 본 프로그램의 참여는 2가지로 구분됩니다.

• 첫 번째는 전반적인 기획과 운영을 지원하는 '리더(모임장)'입니다. 리더는 KIRD와 협의 및 지원을 받아 '모임 기획', 모임 준비 및 운영', '모임 퍼실리테이팅', '모임운영비 관리 등 제반 행정', '활동일지 작성 및 게시' 등을 주로 담당합니다. 이러한 활동을 통해 주도적인 모임의 리더로서 역량을 개발함과 동시에 리더 활동비 등의 추가적인 지원을 받게 됩니다. 리더로서 역할을 수행하기 위해 리더십 외에도 다국적 모임 참여자들과 커뮤니케이션하기 위한 한국어/영어 능력을 모두 보유하여야 하며, 연구비 관리 등 행정업무 수행을 위해 국가R&D 수행 및 지원경험을 보유하여야 합니다. 리더는 신청서 제출과 심사 과정을 통해 최종 선정될 예정이며, 자세한 방법은 공고문을 확인해주시길 바랍니다.

• 두 번째는 관심주제의 모임에 참여하는 '구성원'입니다. 구성원은 리더의 안내에 따라 정기/수시 모임활동에 적극적으로 참여하고 학습하는 역할을 합니다. 구성원은 '리더' 선정 이후 K-클럽 홈페이지를 통해 모임별로 공개모집이 예정되어 있습니다. 구성원의 신청조건은 국내에서 재직 혹은 재학 중인 연구자 혹은 대학원생 모두 국적에 관계없이 참여가능하나, 한국인의 경우 프로그램 특성을 감안하여 리더 포함하여 한 모임에 최대 2명까지만 참여가 가능한점 양해 부탁드립니다.

The Global R&D Career Salon in Korea is a collaborative learning and networking program designed to support the career development and research networking of international researchers working or studying in Korea.

Through this program, participants share and exchange their experiences in conducting R&D in Korea, as well as career development insights, fostering mutual learning and collaboration.

2. Who can participate in this program?

Participation in this program is divided into two roles:

(1) Leader (Group Facilitator)

Leaders are responsible for the overall planning and operation of the group. With support and coordination from KIRD, leaders take on roles such as:

• Planning group activities

• Preparing and managing meetings

• Facilitating discussions

• Managing group budgets and administrative tasks

• Writing and uploading activity reports

Through these responsibilities, leaders can develop their leadership and management skills while receiving additional support, including activity allowances.

To serve as a leader, applicants must:

• Have strong communication skills in both Korean and English

• Have experience in conducting or supporting R&D in Korea (including administrative tasks such as research fund management)

Leaders will be selected through an application and evaluation process. Please refer to the official announcement for detailed information.

(2) Members

Members participate in group activities based on their interests and actively engage in learning and networking.

• Members will be recruited after leader selection through the K-CLUB website

• Eligible applicants include researchers or graduate students currently working or studying in Korea, regardless of nationality

※ Due to the nature of the program, each group may include up to 2 Korean participants (including the leader)
