Specialty Hospital- Provides care for special conditions, and age groups- burn hospitals, oncology, pediatric, psychiatric, orthopedic, and rehabilitative hospitals.

Government Hospital- Operated by the federal, state, and local government agencies. Examples are the VA hospitals, state psychiatric hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.

For example if you had a hip replacement the hospital would do the surgery, then you would go to the long-term care facility,  and do rehabilitation to learn how to walk again.
