Per això, l’Ultra Clean Marathon començarà a la platja de Sant Feliu de Guíxols i acabarà a les platges de Barcelona. A l’arrencada, del Mar Mediterrani en sortirà Miquel Sunyer, explorador aquàtic i nadador de llarga distància, que haurà recollit residus del fons marí i que els entregarà, a mode de relleu als corredors Albert Bosch i Nicole Ribera. A partir d’aquí començarà el gran repte que suposa l’Ultra Clean Marathon.
