Use local supplies for drinks and organic food. The main goal in this is that it will reduce the CO2 emission. The purpose of choosing local supplies is that it will use less carbon by transporting the food compared to food that is sourced from afar.
Another reason for choosing organic food is that it is less of a risk for toxic chemicals that can damage the environment. Moreover, it will be more acceptable and safe for our guests to have healthy and enjoyable food.
We also care to ensure and consider our suppliers that they have taken good care of the products and that they are worth buying them.
We also consider using metal straws when it comes to drinks, it is way more sustainable than using plastic. The guests on their own can decide if they want to use them or not.
Moreover, our menu will include vegan and vegetarian food, so that the guests will have the opportunity of choosing their meal. The reason for having this menu is mainly because of the meat and the purpose of not using too much because it is not very environmentally friendly.

CUTLERY & GLASS

We believe that to be even more sustainable is by using reusable cutlery and avoiding plastic cups by using reusable glasses.

The reason for considering using glass is because plastic cups are not environmentally friendly so we would like to avoid it.

About cutlery we are considering using wooden ones which are more friendly in the environment and the guests will be able to enjoy everything.

TRANSPORT

To be more sustainable when it comes on transport, we would like to encourage guests to use the public transport like trains instead of using their own car.

Furthermore, we have provided a shuttle bus for the evening when the event is going to happen which will be able to take the guests and bring them to the event.

ENERGY

To save energy, the ideal date for the event to happen is in summer, the reason for that is that we wouldn't have to use heating to warm up the place the event is going to happen. So it would be interesting for the event to happen at an outdoor venue, like one of our hotel's gardens.

If the events venue is going to be indoors, then to reduce energy use we can use Fairy lights. Fairy lights are beneficial because they don't require a lot of energy use and they are smaller so they are easier to transport.

We would like to be more sustainable when it comes to paper. So we thought we would send our event to our guests by using the power of the internet. They will be notified by email about the information of the event.

Moreover, for the guests to attend the event they will have to have a specific QR code that will let them attend the event.
