I never knew you before your death, but I feel very empathetic and also angered. Angered at how a night in could result in your last night, angered at how the men who are responsible for that could do it again, and angered at the long pattern of lacking justice. I am not special for being angry, I think my frustration for this case and similar cases is something the black community feels at an even greater extent. I always fear the white savoir complex and try to do my best to do what I can and avoid being ignorant.
