An associates degree in Nursing would include courses such as, anatomy, nursing, nutrition, chemistry, microbiology ect.  Bachelors degree would take similar courses but it would be over the course of four years instead of two, Now if you're really ambitious you could do both  you can enroll in an RN-to-BSN program which is geared specifically for RNs who have an associate’s degree or nursing diploma. This path usually takes about two to three years. Some examples of RN-to-BSN courses are Bioethics, Fundamentals of microbiology, Nursing research, Nursing care of the older adult, Public health nursing.  After the degree program you have to take a National Council Licence Examination, this is a registered trademark and/or service mark of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.
