The challenges were finding information because this speech was very information based and a lot of research had to be done. By using in text citations in the speech, “according to…”, can also help because the audience would see that the information that the speaker is talking about is legitimate and not made up. In this speech, unlike the other, the emotional appeal worked very well. According to Mr Rhys, I fed everyone through the palm of my hand, which means that by effectively varying my tone, I was able to influence the audience to show different emotions at different parts of the speech. The challenges in this , was to include research and personal experiences in this speech and this was difficult because these were two different evidences and it was hard to connect them together. Next time, to improve, I could include more research in my speech so as to better reinforce my points.
