I grew up in Caruthersville. After high school I attended Mississippi State University (Go Dawgs!). I then returned to Caruthersville to start my career.This is my 7th year teaching, all in kindergarten, and I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. I am the mother to a beautiful and sassy 2 year old named Ellen. I can honestly say I love my life in Caruthersville. I have wonderful job and beautiful family.

I have made myself use more as the need for technology grows. In my personal life, the extent of my technology use would be my I phone and lap top computer. I recently got an I pad, but it has been completely overtaken by my daughter and she knows more about it than I do. In my professional life, I have 5 student computers that my kids use daily. I enjoy playing interactive games with my students on my SMART board. I have almost burnt down my kitchen twice. I have also locked food in the oven by accidentally putting the oven on "self cleaning" mode.
