The candidate for the presidency from the Citizen Movement, Álvarez Máynez, during one of his speeches in the first presidential debate, makes a mistake by confusing the word "tobacco" with "Tabasco". These were the candidate's words:

"Practically the government subsidizes by paying more than $100,000 million pesos in Tabasco-related illnesses."
