Overfishing occurs when more fish are caught than the population can replace through natural reproduction. Gathering as many fish as possible may seem like a profitable practice, but overfishing has serious consequences. The results not only affect the balance of life in the oceans, but also the social and economic well-being of the coastal communities who depend on fish for their way of life. Many fisheries and/or fishermen are fishing too many fish. Fish levels are going way down because of over fishing. The collapse of the Atlantic Cod Fishery is one such example of how humans have exploited the planet’s natural resources to the brink of extinction. There are now way more species of fish and marine animals that are in large danger of being extinct because of over fishing. Without better control of these important resources, many of the species which humans depend on for sustenance will become unavailable as a food source. The world must do more to sustainably manage fishing if we’re to address increasing global demand for protein in the coming decades. If the situation doesn’t improve, millions of people may no longer be able to afford fish by 2050. Some factors are, lack of protected areas, illegal fishing, and open access fisheries . we need to limit the amount of fishing and add more protected areas https://www.worldwildlife.org/threats/overfishing

http://csglobe.com/10-environmental-problems/

Global warming is pretty much over polluting in the air which is causing the earths temperature to slowly rise. This is a serious problem and needs to be fixed before it is too late. Over the past 50 years, the average global temperature has increased at the fastest rate in recorded history. If this keeps up the average U.S. temperatures could increase by up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit over the next century. This is very harmful toward the environment showing that us humans pollute the air so much that it causes the temperature to rise. Us humans need to look toward more environmentally friendly solutions with one being that we need to switch to electric cars, solar panels, and decrease the amount of energy used at home. This will cause less air pollution and lets us have a chance to stop global warming before it is too late.

https://goo.gl/blNFFC

Waste disposal is a current problem that we are dealing with. There is lots of litter in the ocean, and toxins from land fills effect those who live near them. People who live near land fills don grow as much as those who live away from land fills. The gases released from the litter causes this. Also, when litter gets into our oceans and other bodies of water, it can kill or injure species. The main cause of waste disposal is too much consumption.

Recently humans on Earth are destroying our most important barrier due to pollution. With more exposure from the sun the ice in arctic zones are melting and destorying the habitat for arctic animals.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions - Aryan Kalathiya

A Greenhouse allows plants and crops to be grown all year long. For Instance, it is made of glass and the glass allows light to come in and warm plants and air inside. But, the glass blocks infrared light which makes the heat from the sun, stay in the greenhouse. Earth's atmosphere does the same exact thing as a greenhouse. For Example, During the day, the Sun shines through the atmosphere. Earth's surface warms up in the sunlight. At night, Earth's surface cools, releasing the heat back into the air. But some of the heat is trapped by the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. If the greenhouse effect is too strong then there will be a tremendous amount of global warming. Too much carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the air are making the greenhouse effect stronger. However, there are many ways we can reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions. We can use renewable energy. For Example, More than half the electricity in the United States comes from polluting coal-fired power plants. And power plants are the single largest source of heat-trapping gas. Fortunately, the use of alternative energy sources, such as solar, wind, geothermal, and hydro energy, is gaining increased support worldwide. The wind energy produced in Denmark, for example, provides about 10 percent of the country's total energy needs. These methods of energy production emit no greenhouse gases once they are up and running. This will emitt less greenhouse gases and reduce the amount of global warming.

https://climatekids.nasa.gov/review/greenhouse-effect/

Since our Earth crust is covered in 30% of forests, and it is estimated that in 100 years there will be no rain forests, this is a problem. Trees aren't just standing there for nothing, they're producing oxygen during photosynthesis for us. As we exhale, carbon dioxide is released in which trees take in. Without trees, would we breath? We may still be able to, but imagine how hard it would to. Especially with over- population, how scary does that seem? Trees also provide habitats for animals and provide food. Lets stop destroying forests for new homes and agriculture and think about others than just ourselves!!!!
http://www.conserve-energy-future.com/various-deforestation-facts.php
