The most important part I have learned this semester is how to use the right grammar and punctuations when writing. In the past, I would have trouble using big vocabulary words or using the incorrect punctuation in my writing. Although, I am still trying to improve my grammar, I have found myself become more aware of my writing and fixing it for the better. I'm most proud of myself for learning a useful skill that will be great for future references online! Doing school online has never been easy for me since I prefer in person but with the slide presentations and YouTube videos has helped me so much to get a better understanding.

This semester in ENGL 0302 has been a truly rewarding experience, and I have really enjoyed the class. The most important thing I learned is to always give my best on every assignment because teachers are here to help you grow. Once I approached the assignments authentically, I noticed a huge improvement in my writing and was able to identify the areas where I needed to improve. I am proud of myself for having the courage to email you with my concerns and for putting in the effort to try the assignment again. My favorite assignments were the journal entries because they allowed me to genuinely express my thoughts and share parts of who I am and what I’ve experienced. Ms. Chacon, I really enjoyed having you as my teacher. Most teachers are not as gracious and forgiving as you—you could have simply given me a zero, but you didn’t. That is what truly makes you stand out to me. I wish you the very best and thank you so much!

I have learned so much this semester, even though English is not one of my strongest subjects I really enjoyed everything. Learning proper grammar and how to appropriately use punctuation. One is never old to learn new things and always improve our skills we use on a daily basis. Always learning to expand one’s vocabulary is very important. Overall English courses§e has really boosted my attitude and my skills, I am looking forward to keep improving my skills and use them properly.

This semester, one of the most important things I learned is that I can actually write more than I thought I could, especially when I am writing about myself or something I can relate to. I also learned that even though reading is still challenging for me, reading out loud helps me understand the text better and see my errors. I am also proud that I completed my assignments even when I took longer than I expected, and I appreciate that my professor Chacon was patient and did not immediately give zeros for late work and I liked how well explained the assignments were and because of all of this I feel encouraged and confidents. Thank you

In ENGL 0302 I’ve learned a lot about getting my ideas together and writing in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve gotten better at backing up what I think with reasons and evidence instead of just stating my opinion. Doing the online discussions and assignments has helped me think more carefully and look at things from different angles. I’m really grateful for the chance to practice these skills and for all the help from Professor Chacon it’s made a big difference in how I write. I feel more confident in my writing now and excited to keep getting better as I keep practicing.

This semester in English 0302 I’ve learned many great things but the most important thing I learned was how to organize my paragraphs and support my answers with clear examples. I also learned that revising and editing is as important as writing, because you can miss small things. For example, in the beginning of the semester I wouldn’t take my time to review my work carefully but now I understand how much stronger my writing becomes when I go back and improve it.

What I am most proud of this semester is my growth and improvement. Ive noticed a big change in how I manage my school, work, and life. There was times assignments felt overwhelming due to me being stressed from life but I did not give up. I pushed myself to complete every assignment and discussion. I learned to analyze text more carefully, paying attention to the authors purpose and message of the main idea. I am proud of my progress and the effort I put into this semester. My professor and this class thought me I can improve as a reader and writer as long as a stay focused and believe in myself.

What I learned this semester was wonderful because I understood that reading and writing complement each other. I'm also happy because I managed to finish several essays, written assignments, and very long exams in my ENGL 0302 class. In addition, I significantly improved my writing and reading skills and gained more confidence in both. I always try to improve my English grammar, both in writing and speaking. For example, I now understand English better and can construct grammatically stronger sentences than before, which has improved my English reading and writing skills. I'm also curious to read how my classmates have tackled the challenges this semester and what has worked for them to improve their reading and writing.

This semester has honestly been such a journey, and I feel like I’ve learned so much. I’ve not only learned about reading and writing, but also about how I think and express myself. One of the biggest things that stands out to me is how much I’ve grown in really analyzing texts. Before, I would just read and take things at face value, but now I pay more attention to themes, word choices, and the deeper meanings behind what authors are trying to say. It’s kind of exciting to realize that reading isn’t just about understanding the story, it’s about understanding the why behind it. I’m also proud of my writing progress. Even small things, like being able to organize my ideas more clearly or using stronger evidence to back up my points, feel like huge wins. I worked really hard on the essay assignment, got great feedback, and it made me feel like all my effort actually paid off. Those little successes have honestly made me more confident as a writer, and I feel like I’m more willing to take risks with my words now. Overall, these achievements have helped me grow not just in reading and writing, but in thinking critically and expressing myself more clearly. I feel like I’m leaving this semester not just with better skills, but with more confidence in my abilities too.

First, I want to say thank you to Professor Amanda for all the help she has provided to make me a better reader and writer. It is so true when they say the mind is a terrible thing to waste. I have a G.E.D. and passed with good scores, but when I got into this class, it made me realize how much I had forgotten and how my grammar needed a little work. It was challenging because I am not a writer. I am good at creating things with my hands, but writing was not really my thing. However, I could read a book in a second. This class gave me a better understanding of how to write a paper properly and how to better understand what I am reading. Fixing your grammar means a lot. For example, when you go to apply for a job or if you need a business loan, you will know where to start. I also have children who are still in school, and now I can help them a little better. I can share what I have learned to help them when they need it. I have come a long way and still have more to go. Until then, patience makes perfect, and I will not quit.

This class helped me expand my writing and to think outside the box. It also taught me to take plenty of time on my work and go over the assignments a couple of times. It taught me to organize my thoughts and to write everything down, and when the time comes, it will be a lot easier to start writing. I know the only way for me to get better at writing is to keep practicing and reading. I appreciate the effort and time that Professor Chacon put in helping and leaving her reviews. You gave me the confidence to keep writing in this class. I'm proud that at the end of the day with a busy life i have being mother and working I had the time to dedicate to this class.
