Know: This week I have shown my power point presentation about the four formal elements with the final photos to my class and I have shown people around college at the media department for the open evening. 

Do: The skills I have learnt this week is to be scared to talk in front of the class when I do my presentation and also communicating to people when I show them around.The barriers I experienced was that I didn't want to present my work in front of the class  but I over come that barrier and got on and did my presentation. 

Show: I have presented my presentation on power point with my final four photos that I have chosen and the reasons why I chose the photos as my final four photos. One of the slides of my power point is down below. The task I enjoyed was taking photos for my final shoot because I liked going around taking photos of different things. 

Improve: I have improved on the tasks on showbie that I need to re-do on Task 1 changing two of the photos and Task 2 I need to change two of my shape photos because they all look similar. I have responded to all the feedback and done changes I needed to do. Know: This week I have learnt how to make a contact sheet on Photoshop to show all the photos I have taken this week of the four formal elements and annotated the photos saying what is good or bad about the photos.
 
Do:The skills I have learnt this week are how to make a contact sheet on Photoshop. This week I have taken photos for the four elements the barriers I experienced were that what to take photos of but I overcome this by looking around different places to take photos of the four formal elements.  

Show: This week I took photos for my final shoot of the four formal elements Line,Shape, Texture and Colour using my I Pad to take the photos. I have presented my work on a contact sheet using Photoshop with annotations, my work is presented down below.
 
Improve: What I  need to improve on is to make a adobe spark page to show my work if necessary because I have done a presentation on power point to show my work I've done this week with my final four photos. Know: This week I have learnt about pre-production planning and learning what assessments I have to do to plan my shoot for next week. I know how to produce mind maps, risk assessments and location plans.

Do: The new skills I have learnt this week is how to plan for pre-production and all the documents you have to fill out ready for my shoot. I found the location visit hard because I am bad drawing but I overcome and got on with it and I  think I done well with it.

Show: I have presented my mind maps on padlet I made four mind maps on the formal elements Line,Texture,Shape and Colour.I have said what equipment  I what to use and the locations I what to go. I have copied link to showbie. The picture of one my mind maps is down below. 

Improve: I need to improve on making my mind up on where I am going to shoot my photos and make sure I will take good photos next week. The skills have learnt about pre-production  will help me next when I start shooting. (Unit 1: 1.1 & 1.2)
Know: This week I have learnt how to use a DLSR Camera and how record videos and use the basic features. I have learnt how to set a Tripod and to put up and connect a camera to the tripod.I have also learnt how to use Photoshop and use some of the tools and edit photos.

Do: I have learnt how to use different tools in Photoshop. I learnt how to change a coloured photo into a black and white and also learnt how how to change the background to black and white using the lasso tool to keep a specific bit of the photo in colour. I have made three videos with Harry showing how to use DLRS Camera , Tripod and Photoshop and uploaded them to Showbie.

Show: I have presented my Photoshop photos on Padlet page with the original and my Photoshop version of the photos and upload the link to Showbie. I changed six different photos on Photoshop changing them to black and white , saturation and selection tool. The picture of my of my work is down below.

Improve: I need to improve on using Photoshop and knowing how to use more tools to edit photos with tools I don't how to use. I also need to improve speaking a bit more on camera and be more confident and explain more on camera. The skills I have learnt this week will me apply to work next session is that know basic skills on Photoshop to edit photo.I know to use a DLSR camera and set up a Tripod it will be help if I do any more filming.

(Unit 1: 1.1 and 1.2)

Know: I now have knowledge of the main formal elements line, shape,texture and colour and it has helped when I was taking photos of the photos I chosen to replicate and upload to I have made  my adobe spark page.

Do: I have produced some successful photographs using my IPad and phone which shows the the four formal elements. I used my IPad to take photos so I could reflect the original photos that I had researched. I used my IPad  and my phone to take the photos I took the photos around college, at home and in the town. 

Show: I have presented my work on Adobe Spark to show the photos I have taken and the original photos to show how I replicate the original with the ones I have taken myself. This is the link to my Adobe Spark page https://spark.adobe.com/page/QIra28ZwRUUZW/. 

Improve: I think that taking the photos went well because I knew what to take photos of and where to take them. Making the Adobe Spark page was successful because easy to upload the photos and compare my photos to the original. I need to improve on my spelling because I found it hard to spell some words and I need improve to make sure that the photos I taken represent the formal elements.

The activity that helped me with my knowledge was learning to use padlet and setting up a account to use for work. 

The new skill that helped me complete the task was to know how to upload an image to padlet and the analyse why they inspires me. There were no barriers that I experienced. 

I presented my work on padlet and copied the link to showbie.

The improvements I need to work on is my choice of decisions on the photographs. The skills I learnt is how to use padlet and how to upload pictures on padlet.
