         <description><![CDATA[<div>Reasons:<br>- Centre might not be able to afford a wide variety of materials<br>- Teacher might not be well-trained to create a variety of materials or provide other ways to make use of one material<br><br>Solutions:<br>- Provide wide variety of open-ended materials such as big and small blocks, play-dough, fabrics, re-cycled materials, paints, sand, water, clay, paper, and natural items such as stones, twigs and leaves available to promote creativity, exploration and imagination. <br>- The Internet has many resources for teachers, most of them free, that can significantly increase the contents of your teaching toolbox. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Make clear distinctions between spaces for group activities, storage, display, learning corners.<br>-large group area must have a lot of space for everyone<br>-use placement of furniture or hang fabric to demarcate learning corners<br>-storage for things not in use must be kept out of sight so as to not distract<br>-each child must have their own space to store things<br>-have places to display works<br>-maintain organisation so the children can consistently find what they need<br>-use low shelving so that children can be independent<br>-use labelling with pictures<br>-ensure that all areas can be supervised at once<br>-store related items together<br>-each learning corner must have everything the children will need so that they will not have to go search for things from other learning corners</div>]]></description>
