When I was younger, around 5 or 6. I would always watch my grandmother cook and bake. After watching her so much, I finally starting helping her. I think this is active learning because, I was never formally taught instead I just watched and learned on my own.

During my first semester of college, in my ENG 1010 class we wrote about 3 essays. One of the essays we were assigned to write, was to reflect on one of our past writing experiences. This is constructive learning because we were able to reflect on our writing.

2. During my Senior year of high school, I took Pre-Cal. After she graded our tests, she would let us check our work and try to fix what we got wrong. Last semester, my Cultural Anthropology professor would put us into breakout rooms to discuss the lecture. This qualifies as cooperative learning because we had the chance to discuss our thoughts and feeling about what we had just learned. 

2. In my Pre-Cal class in high school, we would check each others work. In my sophomore year of high school, I took a course called Contemporary Issues. This course talked about a lot of social justice issues, and the class ended up changing my opinion about a lot of things. I think this was an authentic learning experience because it focused on the real world. 

2. My second semester of college, I took Intro to Ethics. In this course we learned a lot about philosophy, but the professor would also use a lot of real world examples in the class. She was teaching intentionally because she actually wanted us to absorb and use the information rather than just memorize it.
