Most dice have the sides numbered one to six, however this interestingly has the number four twice and no number six on it, which may suggest that the Romans played a game that required the number four twice.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Found at Hoxne ('Hoxon') in 1992</p><p>The gold chain had nine jewels set into it, a central amethyst four garnets and four empty holes which probably had pearls in them. The body chain was worn over the shoulders and round the chest, this one could only be worn by a slim or young lady.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Its made from silvered&nbsp;bronze and&nbsp;copper&nbsp;alloy.</p><p>It dates from the 1st - 5th Century AD.</p><p>Each piece has two holes at the top and to either side.&nbsp; When all the pieces were strung together it formed an item of&nbsp;armour of different shapes.&nbsp; This was expensive to make and maintain and was therefore&nbsp;normally only worn by the wealthier cavarlymen.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>It was made from Bronze/Copper Alloy.</p><p>It dates from the 1st - 3rd Century AD.</p><p>This ring is quite small with two crescent shaped pieces side by side on the bezel with a groove in the middle which tapers into a split band.&nbsp; Each of the shaped crescent has been inscribed with I X V on one crescent with I P V on the other.&nbsp; It is not known the meaning of these but it is thought that IP may be an abbreviation of emperor.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Its made from molded clay.</p><p>It dates 2nd to 3rd century AD. </p><p>The lamp&nbsp;was made by putting two molded pieces together and leaving to harden.</p><p>The two holes allowed oil to be put in a wick to be placed inside.</p><p>It could have been used to light the interior of a house or carried by hand.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>
