         <description><![CDATA[<div>Prologue starts just like any play, briefly explaining the entire play.<br>-Alejandro De La Torre<br><br>Theseus, duke of Athens, and Hippolyta, queen of the Amazon, are first introduced in the play. Theseus mentions that their wedding is four days away. He becomes very impatient for the event, so he tells Philostrate to stir up drama within the Athenian youth as entertainment to pass time. <br>-MELODY VANGVICHIT<br><br>Egeus brought Hermia, to tell Theseus of her disobedience. In which Theseus gave her three options: obey her father and marry Demetrius, become a nun, or death. <br>-Klarissa<br><br>Hermia and Lystander make a plan to leave the city and go to Lystander's aunt where they could live off and have a beautiful and lovely life together away from Hermia;s father, Egeus. <br>- GERARDO MEDINA<br><br>Helena tells Demetrius the lovers plan to runaway hoping he would love her but he doesn't and chases after them as Helena chases after him<br>Nevaeh T.<br><br>Demetrius argues with Hermia, ends up taking a nap, and is dosed with magic love which leads him to believing he loves Helena. Now Lysander and Demetrius are fighting over Helena.<br>-JOSELYN<br><br>Hermia and Helena get into a fight because Helena thinks they are pulling a prank on her and that no one loves her.          <description><![CDATA[<div>"If we shadows have offended, Think but this and all is mended..."(5.1. 400-415)<br>-Nevaeh T.<br><br>Prologue "If we happen to offend you, it’s because we want to. We don’t want you to think we came here to offend you, except that we want to offend you with our good intentions." <br>-Alejandro De La Torre<br><br>The purpose of the epilogue was so Puck can apologize for all of the mischief and confusion he had  caused. He also mentions that he never intended to disrespect or offend anyone. <br>-MELODY VANGVICHIT<br><br>The purpose of the Prologue is to the audience the content in which are able to see and if they son't like it, they can go that way there isn't any issues or conflicts.<br>- GERARDO MEDINA<br><br>This epilogue proves that there wasn't in any form an intention for being discourteous  rather is  a message to clarify to those who misinterpret. -JOSELYN<br><br>The purpose of the prologue is to introduce the characters, and the whole story line. It is to create the setting.<br>-Klarissa<br><br>The epilogue is used to make sure that no one is offended by the end of the play and to show that it was just a play. In this play they say that if this was offensive that it was just a dream.<br>-Evan<br><br>"Our plan to show off our little bit of talent will wind up getting us executed. Please keep in mind we’re only here out of spite. We don’t come here with the intention of making you happy." <br>The purpose of this part of the prologue of the play was to introduce themselves and to give a "warning" that they actors don't want to be put to death by the King and Queen.<br>-FRANCISCO TOVAR</div>]]></description>

What is certain is that his plays as well his other works have influenced our English language as well as our literature and films. <br>-GERARDO MEDINA <br><br>Woman during this time were at a low status. They were not allowed to come out in plays at all.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Hermia is forced to love Demetrius but she loves Lysander.<br>-Alejandro De La Torre<br><br>Helena has a strong desire to marry Demetrius, however he does not feel the same way about her.<br>-MELODY VANGVICHIT<br><br>Tatania and Oberon fight often because of the boy and they both cheated on each other but in the end the resolve most of their problems?<br>-Nevaeh T.<br><br>One character relationship that can be seen is that of Egeus and his daughter, Hermia . The relationship is a father and daughter relationship where they aren't on the same page when it comes to things such as love. In the play, Egeus believes that Demetrius is the man who will love and take care of his daughter, Hermia, more than any other man. However, Hermia believe that Lystander is the man who will do so. This bake and forward can be seen in the first act and shows the difference in thought between the two characters.<br>-GERARDO MEDINA<br><br>Demetrius wants to be with Hermia, although she and Lysander are in love with eachother. Lysander does not like Demetrius because of this. <br>-Klarissa <br><br>Puck and Oberon have an interesting relationship, while they are friends, they seem to have a different relationship. They have multiple scenes where there seems to be more than a friendship<br>-Evan<br><br>Hermia and Helena were life long friends but feel betrayed with each others actions over the mans love.<br>-JOSELYN<br> <br>the relationship between Theseus and Hippolyta are strong because they both fought for their love for each other.<br>-FRANCISCO TOVAR</div>]]></description>
