1. Do you think there are new needs in the time of the COVID pandemic? What are they?

Ans. Some needs for the COVID- 19 Pandemic are: Taking precautions (like wearing masks, and taking care of our health and avoid going to crowded places) these can help us maintain our health and repel the virus.

    1. Is there any source/artefact from the present times would you like to add in the COVID museum? Why? (Talk about its relevance/importance)

Ans. Well, this is kinda a tough question, because the museum was diverse (if that makes sense) and it covered pretty much everything, but there is one thing that they missed out, and that is, what the children of 2019-2022 have missed out on, let me explain. For example, if someone was born in the middle of the COVID- 19 Pandemic, they would not know how the real world looks like, everybody wearing masks and stuff. They would think that it's normal. I can relate to this too, because my cousin was born in 2019, October. When she went to the park for the first time, she started to cry, because she had never been to it before, because of lockdown! All the children also missed out on social interactions with peers that are extremely important for us children

    3. How do you connect the learning from the museum to the guiding question “How does the knowledge of the past help me understand my present world”?

Ans. The museum told me lots of facts and other cool stuff, so I think I connect it by looking at the pictures from olden times. Like how things have changed from then until now...

A1. I think the new needs are items for precaution against the virus like sanitizer, face masks, and gloves. I think another need can also be entertainment as we were locked in our houses and couldn't play outside so we had to entertain ourselves with books, tv, video games, board games, etc.

A2. Though they showed a variety of artefacts in the museum I think they can also show somethings that are happening outside in the world like the graffiti made on walls in NCR to show corona precautions and they also have funny murals like Mona Lisa but she is wearing a mask.

A3. I connect the museum with the guiding question as they show a before and after of what we did before corona and in corona so I think that will help us understand that what we should avoid if we start going outside and trying to continue part of our old routine before corona.

1. the new needs I think are there in the time of COVID are, more advanced technological sites(online ordering sites for food, clothes, medicine, etc.), along with more health care(a need to keep yourself fit, usage of masks, social distancing).

2. Some artifacts or sources I would want to add to the COVID museum would be things which are happening around the world(in terms of covid), artifacts or personal sharings about someone's life, such as, how they felt when they got covid and after(if they recovered), how did their jobs go? (mainly, they're experiences from COVID).

3. I connect to the guiding question as before corona, no one had an idea of its cure, we used to do things differently but as time passed, we started learning about different things, how to take care of ourselves more and how to live with new needs to stop us from repeating what we had done wrong in the starting of COVID.

Q1: Do you think there are new needs in the time of the COVID pandemic? What are they?

A1: There are a lot of new needs which came up in covid, Like wearing masks, having a 2 meter space between you and another person, having a sanitizer, and having a device for online school/office.

Q2: Is there any source/artefact from the present times would you like to add in the COVID museum? Why? (Talk about its relevance/importance)

A2: I would like to add the Topic of Audiobooks. Because as the pandemic hit, a lot of people couldn't get books and even though everyone ordered from Amazon or Flipkart, people couldn't get any books, I think Audiobooks will help as you don't need to hold a book and read it, a narrator will read it for you as this generation, it is known that kids learn better with audio and video compared to reading, so Audiobooks really could help learning without a book

Q3: How do you connect the learning from the museum to the guiding question “How does the knowledge of the past help me understand my present world”?

A3: I connect it by learning that how different our lives were 3 years ago when covid wasn't a thing, like a a lot of babies who are born in the pandemic don't even know that life without it, so it will be crazy if they heard life without covid. Learning about our past will help us by making us understand why the steps towards covid were taken and how we can help stop it.

By looking at the mistakes of our daily life before COVID, it is important to not repeat the same ones after COVID. COVID has been like a rejuvenation period for nature. Rare species are thriving again, pollution levels decreasing, and if we start the normal life after this, all will be lost.

During the pandemic, we’ve relied on our devices for various things such as education, entertainment, food and many other things.

Ans 2. I think one item I would like to add is my guitar. Playing guitar entertained me a lot and while it may be a old hobby for me, a lot of people are learning a brand new instrument.

Ans 3. I think that learning about the past helps us realise how much we’ve really progressed. In the past, we would not have technology to rely on, the cases wouldn’t be controlled at all since they still needed food to survive. It makes us notice how fortunate we really are.
