Tenure is intended to protect teachers from arbitrary and unfair dismissal, like an administrator who disapproves of a teacher’s politics.<br>- Originally if you are good at what you do then worrying about your position shouldn't be a problem. But if a teacher starts off rough, but love what they are doing, then tenure is important to recognize that your job is protected. Pg4</div>]]></description>

Actively participating in class can help a student engage to his or her fullest. I enjoy classes with many group activities versus only independent work.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1) "A majority of students participate in at least one extracurricular activity, with students from smaller schools and with stronger academic records the most likely to be involved." <br>-  I agree with this quote explaining that students are more involved in school when they are in extra curricular, because in order to play a sport your grades have to be up to par. being an athlete pushes you for good grades. Pg 281</div>]]></description>
