         <description><![CDATA[<div>When it comes to my understanding of plants, I chose the simplest picture I could find.  I did this to illustrate how little I really know about how they function.  I get that we receive oxygen, food and water from them but exactly how is not clear.  I memorized plenty from biology but the real world application is lacking.</div>]]></description>

Much like many other rainforest biomes, the trees are being destroyed at a rapid pace for many reasons. Borneo specifically, lost roughly <br>3 million acres of forest a year between 1997 and 2000.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Although the impact of the third agricultural revolution cannot be denied, not all of the impacts have been good.  I totally support the theory behind improving our crops and expanding the reach of feeding the masses.  I have recently been educated into the harmful effects, primarily on our soil, from all of the chemicals being used to treat and enhance crops.  Now is the time to analyze or efforts and reduce the harmful ones while expanding the efforts that improve life.</div>]]></description>

The body becomes dependent upon caffeine making quitting all but impossible.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Below is a photo of barren soil. I truly believe the biggest mistake we have made as a society is the chemical treatment of crops. The destruction of the ground is the biggest impact. Within less than two years of proper care, the soil rejuvenates.&nbsp; Crops grown in the new soil yield higher counts versus treated crops. Pests on crops are good, too! They help us know which plants are weak on not work eating. &nbsp; I'll miss you Dr. H!</div>]]></description>
