It works through a packet routing network with the IP, as it also a network of lots of other networks. Every computer or any other devices has it own IP address on the internet. The packets of the data contain information just like your own address. To make the internet works you need connections, and to make something reach to it destination through internet then it needs to break down into small pieces and it would take other different ways to reach. In case a router is broken then it would take another way through route. To define an internet exchange is when more than one organisation collects together to inter-connect it technology. To define peering, its when lots of companies meet to come up with a solution to solve a problem together. The reason the internet works so well it because of many organizations works to control the worlds internet.

The internet is a network of networks. When two or more networks agree to play the same way that is called inter-connection (internet). If we all agree to follow the internet protocol then the whole world will be connected. Every device has its own address, anything you send through the internet will be broken down into smaller pieces and this way it will take many different way to reach its destination. The internet is decentralized meaning that if one route is broken then your data will take another route. An internet exchange is when many organizations come together to inter-connect their technology. Connecting in one place means that the costs are lower and the efficiency is higher. Peering is when companies work together to come up with the whole solution. Not one organization controls the internet which is why is works so well

This network of networks is a little more interesting and complex than it might seem.

The internet work by having wires and routers. It also includes how a message gets passed to another person, such as whats app, Instagram messages. The video shows how messages get transferred through packets. Packets are the unit of data that is routed between an origin and a destination on the Internet. The internet means that if one route gets broken then your data will be taken to another route.

The Internet works through a packet routing network in accordance with the Internet Protocol. Every device on the internet has a unique IP address. Data sent across the Internet is called a message. Before a message is sent, it is first split in many tiny packets of data. Each one wrapped with info about what it is, where it come from and where is going. The one message can take several different paths to its destination. The protocol knows how to put back together. The internet is decentralized. There are so many possible of connection and there is no single point of failure. The internet is open and no one controls it.
