I love this Spanish proverb because I have applied it to my life in various situations. I have been through many hardships and trials in my life but have yet to give up. I hold dearly to the purpose God has for my life. I continue to get up and move forward every day to achieve the desire I have in my heart. Although life can have many obstacles that I think I will not be able to conquer I can say that God is greater and can open doors that no one can possibly close. This proverb is significant to me as I will continue to get up, no matter the obstacles and hardships life has to offer because everything I do is to bring honor and glory to God almighty.
