The Spanish language was forced  upon people throughout the colonial period. This causes the government to also mainly speak Spanish which affects how the people are with the government, and vise versa.

Culture:
The Catholic religion is the main religion in Peru, and remains a huge part of Peru's culture. This affects the choice of government because if you are catholic you may believe that there should be certain laws that goes along with your religion. This is a good and bad thing because if someone in the government believes in another religion this could affect the government.

Values:
Peru is very big on how others view their country.
