The government allows people to start there own businesses, however the government also has private ownership. Peru is the world's second largest producer of silver and copper. Peru's economy grew by an average of 5.6% each year from 2009-2013, with a average exchange rate and low inflation.</div>]]></description>

The unitary government works by having different areas of the government in branches. Having different branches of the government allows areas to control certain things that happens in Peru which makes things more organized in the Peru government.<br><br></div>]]></description>

In 2016 the country had a GDP of 194.  The country also has a Inflation rate of 3.6% and a Unemployment rate of 6.7%.<br><br>2. Peru's main trade partners consist of United States, China, Switzerland, Canada, and South Korea.<br><br>3. Peru's biggest <a href="https://atlas.media.mit.edu/en/profile/country/per/">trade exports</a> include many different precious metals, animal pellets and meals, and coffee. <br><br>4. Peru's biggest <a href="https://atlas.media.mit.edu/en/profile/country/per/">Trade imports </a>include Cars, Broadcasting equipment, Computers, Petroleum, Corn, and Soybeans.<br><br>5. Peru has over $69 billion worth of debt ever since December 2016. This amount of debt is very low compared to the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>History:<br>The Spanish language was forced  upon people throughout the colonial period. This causes the government to also mainly speak Spanish which affects how the people are with the government, and vise versa.<br><br>Culture:<br>The Catholic religion is the main religion in Peru, and remains a huge part of Peru's culture. This affects the choice of government because if you are catholic you may believe that there should be certain laws that goes along with your religion. This is a good and bad thing because if someone in the government believes in another religion this could affect the government. <br><br>Values:<br>Peru is very big on how others view their country. Therefore they have chosen a government that a majority of people believe is good for the people.</div>]]></description>
