Seder is a sacred meal served in Jewish households every 15th and also 16th of the month to begin the celebration of Passover. Jews are attentive that the Seder meal is an opportunity to relive the Exodus as an individual spiritual experience. The word Haggadah is known as “telling,” it is a Jewish line that holds the liturgy for the Seder ceremony on this Jewish holiday of Passover.


The shank bone: The roasted lamb shank bone honors the Paschal sacrifice performed the evening the ancient Hebrews escaped Egypt, signifying the outstretched arms of God.
Karpas: A green vegetable that signifies the freshness of spring, and it’s also used to make individuals believe they are nobility or aristocracy.
Charoset: The sweet salad of apples, nuts, wine, and cinnamon that the charoset holds symbolizes the mortar handled by the Hebrew slaves to build bricks.
Maror: Known as the “bitter herb,” can cause tears to the eyes, which remembers the harshness of slavery.
Chazeret: Is a herb, various romaine lettuce, that like the maror, symbolizes the distress of slavery.
Egg: The roasted egg is a representation in various diverse cultures

Freedom is associated with Passover because the Jews were freed from mental as well as physical slavery. With the Jews being freed from slavery, the Jewish nation prepared to receive the Torah on Mount Sinai. Also with having freedom in mind, the Seder permits Jews to worship God through prayer, study, and learning by taking part in what is essentially a lesson of Jewish history, literature, and religion. Additionally the notion of spiritual redemption is in part demonstrated by the fundamental Jewish idea that in every generation every individual is obliged to view him or herself as though he or she had actually gone forth from Egypt.
