I didn't need as much reference  or study for that. Pre-Covid I liked to go downtown and sketch buildings, so that sort of stuff is easier for me to come up with on the fly. I had a one point perspective on the buildings, but I did change the horizon line for the buildings further back because I liked this design better than if I followed the same point. I tend to receive a lot of compliments on how detailed my work can be, but to be frank I mostly just think in terms of simple shapes and silhouettes. I might sound a little strange here, but from what I gathered, Alphonse Mucha played with a lot of spheres and oblong shapes and organized them in a way to place an emphasis on the subject, usually a woman. To me this created a sensuous and powerful piece.
