https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y3XlKxE6-E

This video talks about most of the main stories surrounding the Bermuda Triangle and they go into some depth with it, though this video is quite silly, they still bring up valid points and create a little bit of insight for you. They talk about, flight 19, the USS Cyclops, the SS El Faro and even a little bit about Christopher Columbus and his compass not working. They tell the tales how everyone knows them, but they bring up little facts such as Christopher Columbus's compass not working, but he was always high on opium, also with the USS Cyclops carrying a corrosive material, with other ships carrying the same material splitting in half while out to sea because of the corrosiveness of the materials. The Bermuda Triangle is one of the largest shipping areas in the world, so with only around 50 ships going missing, why are we only looking at them and not the thousands that pass through on a daily basis? This is because of Confirmation bias, we see all of the ships going through, but we only remember the ones that go missing. I'm very skeptical of the Bermuda Triangle mysteries because there is no solid evidence, in the video above they say the SS El Faro disappeared on the outskirts of the triangle, but in reality it was just that a hurricane brewed and probably dragged them to the depths of the ocean.

I'm very skeptical of this reason because there isn't any video proof that I can find showing these cloud formations producing furious winds. Perhaps it just comes down to coincidence and the fact that humans aren't perfect and that maybe we make mistakes that end in fatalities and the loss of both planes and ships to Bermuda. The red flag that really stands out for me is red herring because they talk about clouds being the issue, where if you simply look at it, it could just be due to human error. Another red flag is idealogical support because no one wants to believe that it could just be simply our fault because of errors made.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuIxiwvUqLs

This is another video that talks about these "air bombs". I chose this video for two specific reasons, the first being that there is an inconsistency going on with videos that talk about air bombs, because in the last video they could reach 170 miles per hour, where as in this video it is only 100 miles per hour, and they're getting their information from the same source, so this seems a bit odd to me. The second reason being a consistency amongst every video that I have watched, which is that of human error, no one talks about how it could be our fault as humans, and everyone blames anything and everything else. This makes me very skeptical and keeps me wondering as to where these theories are being made. It also makes me think about confirmation bias because every video talks about things other than human error, so clearly they're remembering the crazy theories over the few people that believe it's human error and especially since this legend has been around for so long, it almost seems like there is a little bit of ancient wisdom involved because there is no way that our grandparents and great grandparents could be wrong right?

One major flaw I saw right away is the name of the website...
bermuda-attractions.com. Of course they will make an interesting article to read if they want you to visit Bermuda, or if they want you to get hooked on all of the mysteries involved with the triangle. Another thing that caught my eye is in the opening paragraph they state that over 1,000 ships have gone missing and that US agencies take note of ships that go missing, so they should be documented, but no one has seen these documents, and no one is even able to tell us how many ships have actually gone missing. This leaves me quite skeptical and keeps me wondering as to what exactly do we know about the Bermuda Triangle and all of the missing ships? There is no true answer to that because we don't have access to these possible records. This leads me to the red flag of proof by verbosity due to the overwhelming amount of facts and knowledge that this website throws in your face.

I'm a bit skeptical of this article because first of all, the most recent disappearance is from 2008 and the writer says "However, reports on recent unexplained aircraft disappearances are much harder to find, possibly because of advances in modern technology.", but this makes no sense, because keeping records is much easier because of technology. The biggest red flag present is definitely unexplained because no one can explain what's happening in Bermuda to cause so many disappearances. Another one is proof by verbosity, but i'm very skeptical because each of the "recent" disappearances are from eight years ago.

It is an awesome website for information, but there is just so much that it's almost overwhelming. So, the first red flag to pop out at me would be proof by verbosity due to the amount of statistics and knowledge that is readily available through this site. The second would be unexplained because no one really know what's going on to make these ships and planes disappear and they even cover what it is most likely to be. Unlike most other sites this one talks about human error, but they also bring up other theories such as electrical fog that I have yet to encounter so it leaves me a bit skeptical because I haven't heard of that theory before. Also, they state that the Triangle covers an area of 440,000 miles of sea which is completely inconsistent amongst all websites. Every website says there are a different number of lost ships, planes, and they also say the area of the Triangle is different as well so this raises my skepticism on the whole topic and makes me believe that it could just be pure coincidence and not a "dead zone" that they talk about in this article.

Aliens are definitely a popular choice for a theory of the Bermuda Triangle. Although it is likely that we aren't the only species of intelligence in the galaxy I highly doubt that it is aliens interfering with the Triangle because many ships and planes pass through there on a daily basis and there is no hard proof of aliens existing in the Triangle, let alone the world. This photo is obviously fake, but it gets a point across, but a point that I'm skeptical about because of the lack of proof of aliens. Also a red flag that shows up for me is appeal to authority because a lot of people believe that the internet is always right, which isn't the case.

This is a picture of a supposed air bomb. Yet again, this picture is obviously fake but has a clear point that the air bombs could be the cause of these disappearances. A main reason as to why I'm skeptical is because when I searched for Bermuda Triangle Air Bombs, the only thing that came up that was remotely close was this fake picture. Yet again, there is an appeal to authority due to the internet, but another one for this picture is red herring because it doesn't display any human error, it just shows a powerful force of air, so it is ignorant of the fact that human aren't perfect.

This photo depicts that the Bermuda Triangle is the work of the devil through the name in the middle. Right off the bat I'm very skeptical because if you compare this picture to another one of the same thing online, the lines don't match up perfectly, so there is no way to tell what the actual outline of the triangle is. A red flag right away is paternity because many pictures have the Triangle, but none of them match up perfectly.
