First of all, you should do homework ONLY if needed. Though doing homework can make you more responsible. For example, when you have to do homework every day, it helps you remember things (Homework, then chores, then rest). Ultimately, doing homework helps you understand subjects you may be familiar with. An example is when I did my homework and understood what we were learning after. You should do homework to get into college! Why? Because when you do college, you can unlock more in life, preventing you from a downfall you may have.

Overall, kids should do homework. Whether to be responsible. Or if they don't understand the subject (No offense to those who aren't fast learners! Take your time:)) Or to remember and get it a part of your schedule. Maybe if you want to go to college and get into the medical field. I'm not judging. That's the end of why you should do homework.

I think that having homework is not really that good because you should be doing that at school. When you're a kid I feel you should be doing more fun stuff then work all the time.
