In image 2, Giles Corey refused to admit to speak and confess to be a witch so he was crushed to death by a rock. In image 3, an accused witch is being examined for a "witches tit" to prove she is a witch during a trial. In image 4, a convicted witch is being hung in public for people to see. In image 5, one of the girls notorious for outing witches is accusing someone of being a witch during a trial.  My general thoughts on the background of The Crucible are interested in reading the play.
