Sorority Recruitment

The very first thing I did last year as a freshman was go through sorority recruitment! I pledged Tri Delta, and since then I have loved being involved with my sisters. Since joining Tri Delt, I have made the best friends who encourage me, make me laugh, and push me to be a better version of myself. I have also gotten to be a part of raising money for St. Jude, Tri Delta's official philanthropy. I am so grateful for Tri Delta and how much it changed my college experience.

Diving into my Studies

I am a pre-nursing major, so last year I took a lot of science classes. I got to learn a lot and even participate in fun and interactive labs. My favorite class last year was chemistry, because it challenged me and I still succeeded. Taking classes like these was difficult at times, but it grew me as a student and taught me that I can do hard things. I grew in my passion for nursing and my studies, and even made some friends along the way.

Going to Kaleo!!

The best part of my college experience so far has been getting involved with Student Mobilization. This summer, I spent nine weeks in Florida learning more about my faith and growing in my relationship with Jesus. I also had a lot of fun and made many friends. At Kaleo, I grew alongside the other girls in my discipleship group. We learned how to study the bible, share the gospel, and make disciples back on campus. One of the best parts of Kaleo is that all of the friends I made during the summer also go to the University of Arkansas, so now that I'm back on campus, I get to keep spending time with my community.
