         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>The Name Chain</strong>- have students sit in a circle so all can be seen clearly. Going clockwise, have 1st student name themselves, 2nd student then says the previous person's name and their name. Game continues<br><strong>Know Your Classmates</strong>- Each students gets a copy of the page entitled Know Your Classmates along with pencil/pen. Students are asked to find a peer that fits the description on the paper and retain signature.<br><strong>Bingo</strong>- Have each student complete brief self information sheet: pets, hobbies, siblings, so on. Take information and make Bingo sheet for all to play. Have students obtain signature for each square on card. When Bingo is called have student describe each student singed on card. </div>]]></description>

These groups are characterized by warm, friendly interactions among all members. Cohesive groups provide settings in which students feel safe, belonged, and respected. Positive feelings in a group come from teachers making groups attractive, distinguished, and helping students view themselves as important components.</div>]]></description>
