Question : What was it like in school in the past?
Answer: School time was not that long, they didn’t have as many projects as now

Question: What did you do to past time in the past?
Answer: Nothing much, so she just slept

Question: Do you prefer the past or the present, why?

Answer: I used to climb trees and hang around on the branches. Also, me and my friends played games like 5-stones and zero-point. Answer :Play games like dress-up and hide and seek with cousins. We(relatives) lived close to each other and two or three families lived under one roof

There were no phones or gaming devices .

Answer :There were lesser activities like learning journeys and there was only the express and normal stream.There were also charity events

This is a report book of a kindergarten my mother used to go to, which was manually written by the teachers. This report book are not that detailed, unlike the report books today which are much more detailed and state our physical condition, feedback on our behaviour and more. This tells us that Singapore cared more about our well being today than in the past. This also tells us that since the past, our education system has improved a lot.

My mother used to collect stamps in the past as a hobby. Below is a page of some of the Singaporean Stamps she collected in the past. This tells us that stamp values were 10 cents and 5 cents, meaning that postage was very cheap, unlike today.
