One theme of Catholic Social Teaching that I see the most in this beatitude is “Life and Dignity of the Human Person”.  This theme relates to the beatitude because the theme stresses that all persons exist with God present within them. It also states that all persons must be respected from conception to the grave with little to no exceptions. People want more money, costly trends, and more happiness with Earth rewards. The U.S. is advancing the size of nuclear weapon inventory, striving  to be the most powerful and ready for defense if the other country tries to attack.    This extremely increases the treat of mass violence, and moves away/prevents peace from forming. Jesus wants us to recognize that we do not need to have the most in this world. The only things we need are the basic necessities of life.
