1. Why does the teacher reinforce the rules?
Reinforcement ensures that the children demonstrate the desired behaviour in the classroom.

2. In a literacy lesson, what should the starting point be?
Singing songs. If the age group of the children is 2-3, they can sing the ABC song before starting on the lesson. For children who are 4-5 years old , reading a big storybook and asking children questions along the way is a good starting point.
(Starting point can be mentioning the literacy objectives in simpler terms so that the childre know what is expected of them by the end of the lesson)

3. Discuss about the role of the teacher in this drama lesson.
The teacher gives the children constructive feedback and scaffolds their learning instead of directly giving them the answer. She gives the children freedom to interpret by reminding them that there is no right or wrong in drama.

The starting point of a literacy lesson should start with a discussion of a book-listening & speaking activity.
3. The teacher acts as a facilitator. She does not exactly tell the children what to do. She gets the children to discuss, demonstrate and explain themselves amongst themselves and gives feedback on improvements to be made, for the children to work on. She also involves the whole class when it comes to giving feedback.
