         <description><![CDATA[<div>Anonymous sources:<br><br>- Be honest and straightforward with the source.&nbsp;<br>- Make sure the source understands terms like on the record and off the record.<br>- Make sure the Source knows your identity.<br><br></div><div>Case-by-case decisions: You have to be careful with anonymous sources because your can risk getting the source in trouble or losing your source.</div><div>You can just identify the position or title of the source without saying his or her name.</div><div>Sometimes anonymous sources can lead you do to other sources.</div><div><br></div><div>Policies on anonymous sources:</div><div><br></div><div>- It is important for a reporter to know the policies of using anonymous sources in the media organization they are working for.</div><div>- Some newspapers, for example, don't allow reporters to promise&nbsp; sources absolute confidentiality on their own. One editor at least has to give approval and know that identity of the source.</div><div><br></div><div>Information and quotes from Internet and email sources:</div><div><br></div><div>- Materials on the Internet fall into tangible form: copyrights and guidelines</div><div>- Include the URL link of any website in your stories if you mentioned them</div><div>- Stay away from anonymous pages</div><div>- You can use the Internet for reporting, interviewing, and quoting but they have to be credible<br>- reporting through emails is not very effective as responses sound unidirectional and unspontaneous</div>]]></description>
