Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Global Warming; this worrisome issue that brought us together, so I'll go ahead and try to get it better.
My opinion, and my willing to help reduce global warming is, for example, walk to school instead of taking any kind of motorized transport. Besides this simple example, I had an idea to help reduce paper which in large amount contributes to global warming and that would be, use the computer to take our notes and use virtual books what would save paper and space.
I know this is not a revolutional idea since is most likely to not happen because of the shut down of the book industry and as we all know economy rules.
My considerations to what should nations do is, to distribute more ecopoints through the habitated space, inform everybody of the importance of recycling and how CO₂ emissions contribute to this issue and radically speaking, everybody that did not recycle at their houses should be given a ticket.

I read through the first term the book "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.
Jane Austen is a british author that was born at 16th December 1775 and died at 18th July 1817.
Her works are on the same level of English literacy as Shakespeare. I dare to say I love English literacy and history and general.
I had the pleasure to read her book, in portuguese because it would have to  present it within the scope of the discipline, although I saw the movie in English to contextualize the book.
I shall say it was a cliché story but I can't describe in words how much I loved it. This story/movie captured my heart.
I totally recomend it to people who have pleasure in romantic movies.
In my perspective, as a english speaker from a foreigner country, I should say that the british accent was really strong and the only thing that helped me, were the English subtitles I had on, they were really enriching.
Note: I know this is not directly related to the discipline, but in my opinion is more than enriching, I got to learn the English I know knowadays through movies and books. I love to watch movies as a hobby and I'd love to share my perspective erytime I see one.

As a sequel to my hobby, I saw this movie " Pride, Prejudice and Zombies".
This movie has as genre romance, horror and action.
Obviously, by the title you can already guess that it is inspired in the book and movie that I already mention "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. Not only is inspired that even has lines that are totally equal to the original.
To be honest if I already loved the story in the original book, I love it way more in here. This movie adds the girl power that has a girl I like to see. 
Anyway, I'm not going to extend it more. I am able to understand the themes of biology because I understand English. I was introduced to English at school, but I heard it since I was little, because my dad loved singers/bands like Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, Queen, Backstreet boys... And even though I didn't knew English by the time I would sing along.
In my family I have a cousin that lives in London so when we talk we tend to talk in English and I only speak it with her the rest doesn't know or is still studying. When my cousin moved there she entered an intensive course of english so she could workwhen she was in Portugal she always thought like people usually do, that they don't need English and she realized everybody was wrong in the worst manner. This is why she always told me to learn it, besides the fact that I like languages and that I'd like to work abroad.
My serious learning time was because of something so irrelevant. I really wanted to wacth this Tv show (that had 10 season and watched the first and got tired os it) and it didn't existed in Portugal still so I could only watch it in English, and so I did. As I wanted to know what the characters were saying I would use the Google Translator at the same time, this all happened during Summer break between 8th and 9th grade. I got tired of that show and I watched a Tv series in English that was called Beauty and the beast that had 5 seasons.
I got to school already in 9th grade and as the teacher spoke it didn't looked like gibberish anymore, I was understanding and I could speak, I gained confidence speaking.
After this I would sing knowing what I sang, learning choreographies from english dancers, watch movies without subtitles and before hand because they are released way sooner in english, and help my dad because as he is a truck driver these past couple years he got to go to England and he only knows Portuguese, Spanish and French so I thought him some stuff and even wrote so he wouldn't feel lost.
Finally, English opened doors for me, last summer I was able to do a part-time in a restaurant thanks to knowing English.
I'm waiting to see what will English bring me in the future!
