This Jesus was already socially profiled by others before they even knew who he was. Those who do not meet societies’ standards are always thought less of. In this generation there is a certain way you should, how you should smell, what you should do, where you should work. If you work an “unresected job” like ‘being a toilet cleaner’ or being an on-call girl’ you are automatically thought of as lesser of a person within society. With on gonging's of racism, unfair treatment, police brutality, homelessness, and government behavior along with superior assumptions.

In the text, he cites things that nowadays would be considered "Hori," Hori is a derogatory epithet that has unfortunately been used to degrade and abuse Maori people today. Recontextualises Jesus' story by replacing the religious persecution with race and class persecution, which is more fitting to 60s NZ.
