In this Padlet, we will explore different critical incidents we have experienced in the classroom. Each video will provide a unique look at situations that challenge our perceptions and practices as educators. We will analyze how these moments have led us to greater self-awareness, reflection and evolution in our teaching. Through observation and self-evaluation, we will learn not only from our experiences, but also from those of our peers.

1. How would you advise your partner to manage that situation?

My advice would be to implement strategies for this type of problem, analyze the situation and look for ways to make the students willing during class, sometimes it is also useful to ask for help from the head teacher for advice or group management strategies, personally it has worked for me.

2. What do you think your partner learned from this critical incident?

To know a little about being a teacher, to know that not everything is always perfect in teaching and that problems can arise.

3. 3. After reflecting on his or her critical incident, would you react in a way that you would not?

Why or why not?

I think I would react the same way because sometimes we are not prepared to face these situations.

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
