For starters the mascot is the first attention grabber. Children love friendly faces and animals. Displaying this mascot creates a familiar face for children which allures them to pick up a box of Honey Smacks! They might even refer to the cereal as the one with the "frog" on it. Also, the catch phrase is perfect. It alludes to the title of the cereal and the taste. The catchphrase is short and sweet so it's easier for children to remember.  Lastly, the presentation of Honey Smacks in the bowl on the box is a great opportunity to exhibit this tasty breakfast because children love to see their food. The sparkle on the single cereal exploding out of the bowl gives the cereal an impression that its shinny because the coating of honey.  

Moreover, not only is the children the audience but also the parents. Based on their values, parents will naturally care about their children's health. Once they read the top right hand corner (which says: "no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors and flavors, and 5 simple ingredients") they will love this cereal! Furthermore, the label which states, "NEW RECIPE" in the top left hand corner is proof the creators (Kellogg's) made improvements on their cereal. This shows they cared enough to update their recipe. Parents will further recognize this and will acknowledge Kellogg's is consistent with the quality of their cereal. This cereal is also a bang for your buck because the big writing at the top reads "FAMILY SIZE". So, there will be no need for multiple store purchases, this box should last a long time.
