Learning in mother tongue makes it easier for students to understand new ideas and develop reading and writing skills. It also makes school more inclusive and fun. Although using mother tongue in schools has challenges and disadvantages such as, It can lead to limited resources, teacher training challenges, and assessment difficulties. Additionally, students may struggle to transition to a new language when entering higher education or the workforce. This can also limit their opportunities to learn other languages and cultures, and create communication barriers.
