Welcome to a space where words dance and ideas flourish as I write my story. I am Rebecca L. Andrino, the storyteller behind the words. I am 20 years of age. I was born on the 11th day of November 2003. I grow up in Purok Nammpra, Malingin, Bogo City, Cebu. I am a 2nd-year college, currently studying at Cebu Technological University - Tuburan Campus, taking the course of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Agriculture is the backbone of the country. My hobbies are reading books, a lot of books that would make me escape from the real world, a books that became my best buddy. The other hubby is to have a conversation with myself to challenge my assumptions from different perspectives. I'm constantly doing it in my head, but sometimes I'll doing it loud too. I am, however, aware that I'm talking to myself out loud, and sometimes it's to drown out the noise around me so I can focus and literally hear myself think. And the last one is sleeping, I love sleep because I forget about pain, problems, stress, and everything for a while... My interests in life are to travel, have adventure, and explore each part of the country that has a unique culture and taste its food. The last one is sketching. My proudest accomplishment as a college student is that I can continue being an ROTC officer despite its hard training. I am also most proud that I overcome the difficulties that I face right now. Though there are times that my mind keeps thinking negatively, I am proud that I overcame it because of God's grace and mercy continually pouring on us. Each one of us has a challenge in life. As a student, some of the challenges in life that I've faced right now a financial problems, mental unstable, living environment, effective studying, and anxiety. These challenges make me have more faith in God, 'cause I know God is working behind the scenes and letting me overcome it's challenges that I've faced. These challenges shaped me as a strong, and independent, and taught me on how to grow as a better person. I always keep in mind that every challenge that I face helps me prepare for the future and pushes me to become my best self. And by this way, it guides me in my future goals And inspiration. My future goals are to maintain a healthy weight and be an Agriculturist, successful in my career passion and personal satisfaction, and never stop educating myself. Some fun facts about myself that others may not know are that I am a crying baby, and I easily laugh in a serious conversation. People may see me as tough but the truth is I'm weak, the clumsiest person you meet. My weirdest secret hobby is to sleep anywhere even if the space is small. Most people's first impression of me is a shy person, talks less, and is introverted but once you know me, you'll laugh all day. Regardless of being like this, I have my philosophy in life: "A person who has never made a mistake never tried anything new" - Albert Einstein. This philosophy in life makes me realize that without mistakes or wrong decisions, I'll never learn a lesson. When we perform tasks we are not good at, we are more easily to make mistakes; in contrast, when we perform tasks we are good at and do so for a longer period, we are less likely to make mistakes. Our experience is what improves and completes us. Whenever we do something new for the first time, we almost always make mistakes or come up short. However, as long as we persist in attempting and succeed, it doesn't matter. This mistake is simply part of the learning process. Throughout this process of mine, I had my biggest influences and inspirations in life which are my parents, people around me, and God. That's why I continue to live, work hard for my studies, and strive hard for the future so that I can repay all their labor and sacrifices; in that way, I make them proud of me. I believe that God will make a way when there is no such way.
