Chloe Taylor's CNBC news article states that over 20 Million jobs could be taken over by robots by 2030. In this article, the author states the pros and cons of robotization. On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, economists claimed that over 20 Million jobs could be taken over by robots by 2030. Economists analyzed long-term trends around the increase of automated jobs, noting that the number of robots in use worldwide increased in the last 2 decades by 2.25 Million. There are drawbacks to robotization also.  “As a result of robotization, tens of millions of jobs will be lost, especially in poorer local economies that rely on lower-skilled workers. This will therefore translate to an increase in income inequality,” one of the study's authors stated. Another study by Oxford Economics says, within the next 11 years there could be 14 million robots put to work in China alone. Although there are many upsides to robotization, there are still many drawbacks that outweigh the benefits.
