To address ethical concerns, general practitioners must familiarize themselves with patients' medical behaviors. A solution explored in this study was for general practitioners to regularly review patients’ medication decisions which could enhance shared decision-making. Enhanced shared decision-making will help general practitioners to make more informed/accurate prescriptions. This ensures the correct dosage is prescribed for every patient and is a much more ethical practice.
