6:00-6:10 - Leaders arrive, meet clubbers on Game Square
6:10-6:25 - Check-in
6:25-6:30 - Opening Ceremony in Auditorium
6:30-6:55 - T&T Large Group Time, Sparks Small Group Time, Cubbies Games
6:55-7:20 - T&T Small Group Time, Sparks Game Time
7:20-7:45 - T&T Game Time, Sparks Large Group Time
7:45-8:00 - Closing Ceremony - Awards, Announcements

How to earn Awana Bucks - Sparks and T&T Clubbers

Here is a quick breakdown of how to earn Awana bucks throughout the club year:

$2 - Check-in DUBB - bring your $0.50 Dues, Uniform, handBook, and Bible each week
$1/$2 - Verses - one buck per section completed Sparks - two bucks per section T&T (two/four on double bucks nights)
$1 - Parent Signature on Sections - Bonus! Parents, sign your clubber's handbook near the leader signature line of sections to show that you worked with them on the section/verse prior to club and clubbers will earn an extra Awana buck!
$5 - Birthday - a special treat in your birthday card each year
$1 - Winning Color Team - be the team with the most points from check-in, verses, and games and earn a buck
$1-$5 - Bonuses - randomly awarded throughout club night for paying particularly good attention, quickly lining up, answering large group time questions, etc.

Parent Involvement - Help your clubber earn bonus bucks!

Bonus! Parents, work with your clubbers during the week on their sections. Then, sign your clubber's handbook near the leader signature line of sections to show that you worked with them on the section/verse prior to club and clubbers will earn an extra Awana buck! It makes a big difference when parents get involved. (Clubbers still have to complete the section with a leader on Wed night to get it signed off officially.)

Earn up to 10 points for your team at check-in if you have all of the following:

Attendance
Dues (You may pay the annual dues of $16 from the start if you want so kids don't need to remember $0.50/week. They will get credit for having dues paid in advance.)
Uniform
Book
Bible

If you are new to Awana or have just started Cubbies, you will earn your uniform/book after completing your Apple Acres Entrance Booklet.

New to Sparks?

If you are new to Awana or have just moved up from Cubbies to Sparks, you will earn your uniform/book after completing your Flight 3:16 pamphlet. It takes two weeks to complete this booklet.

New to T&T?

If you are new to Awana or have just moved up from Sparks to T&T, you will earn your uniform/book after completing your Start Zone. It usually takes two weeks to complete this pamphlet.

Payment Options

We have several different options to pay for curriculum and dues--online, cash, or check. Our recommendation is to utilize the online system through the ABBC website to make things nice and easy, but any of these options work for us. If you have questions, please let us know.

To pay online, view your online registration. Payments can be made for the "add-on" items that you have selected. If you are having trouble, contact Holly for help.

Bring a Friend Section

The "Bring a Friend" section in the handbooks is often challenging.

If you are having trouble finding a friend to invite to come with you to club, you may complete the Bring a Friend Alternate Activity Page. It is linked here for you and can easily be printed out, completed at home with a parent, and then brought back for a leader to sign off on. It was designed for T&T, but can easily be used for Sparks also. Let us know if you have any questions.

Snacks

For snacks this year, we will be keeping things simple with non-perishable items that are shelf stable so we can easily pull them out on a weekly basis. If you would like to donate something (applesauce pouches, fruit snacks, crackers, etc.), we will add it to our stock. Thanks!

Parents play a leading role in their child's spiritual development.

Invest in your child's growing faith by reading and discussing the Bible and the handbook sections with your child and by helping him memorize the verses each week.
Use the Parent Ideas section in each handbook to help your child understand the biographies and see how they fit in the Bible.
BookWalks are an extra resource to "coach" parents and clubbers through the handbooks.
Handbook Audio Downloads are a nice extra component to help kids with memorizing their verses.
Parent Pages are an excellent resource to help parents navigate the handbooks with their clubbers. (see links below)
