In my research studies last semester, I tried to establish, through religion, or various investigations of near-death experiences, that perhaps our death is not the end, but rather the end of a cycle and the beginning, for the next new life cycle, with something occult. By establishing an afterlife as such to relieve myself and my audience.
This semester I return to death itself, which is inevitable, we will all die. By researching various religions, unique ways of burial in various parts of the world, and their understanding of death, it seems that I can finally face it directly. Many religions or regions have contradictory ideas and ways of dealing with the body (e.g. Egypt believes in protecting the body for rebirth in the next life, while Tibetan Buddhism believes that the dead body is useless and should be given back to nature to counteract bad karma), some ceremonies are full of sadness, while others are full of celebration. Through my research into these various funeral rituals or related festivals, I have come to understand that people feel genuine grief and miss the death of a loved one or friend, and that their different rituals of grief or joyful celebration, or any number of ways that seem unimaginable to us, help people cope with and mitigate this sense of loss and grief. They always go from denying the death and grieving to accepting it and remembering it. The ritual festivals I researched that celebrated death, or the joyful atmosphere, gave me a new perspective on death, and their transformation of grief into a choice to celebrate the life and memories created while being with the person who died, rather than dwelling on the fact that they are gone forever. The message I took away from this research lab report  Asian Nursing Research was that：
Older people with chronic illnesses and their families need to be educated about death as necessary before serious functional impairment can occur.
In China and other Asian cultures, talking about death or death-related issues is negative or sensitive. This phenomenon is even more pronounced in hospitals. Many families want to 'protect' their patients, so they refuse to tell them the truth about their diagnosis or prognosis. In this context, it is not easy for health professionals, patients, and families to talk openly about death. Despite the vulnerability of people to discuss death, cultural beliefs such as the belief in an afterlife and the importance of funerals in Chinese culture may be a reasonable basis for promoting discussion of death. These cultural characteristics should be considered when educating patients and their families about death.
The final experimental results for this group of controls as well as the intervention group showed that the death education program significantly increased patients' well-being and satisfaction after the experiment.

It concludes that one third of families of adults who have lost a loved one to cancer regret not talking adequately about death. Clinicians can minimise this regret by promoting a shared understanding of the disease and prognosis, clearly advising families when to talk based on end-of-life awareness, providing ongoing emotional support and validating their decision to talk about death.
