My friend seen in the picture told me when we started the activity that Dosai would be very healthy and tasty. I changed the colours of the stalk, flower and background. I used a gradient on the two different colours I used in my background. I enjoy western tea but I am not a frequent eastern tea drinker. However, after this session, I started to enjoy drinking chinese tea. The tea has a totally different flavour from western tea. Since the infusion of the tea is shorter, the flavour is less strong. I prefer a longer infusion as it has more flavour.

Chinese calligraphy thought me the importance of patience and control. Without them, I would not be able to write the characters properly. The technique was difficult to learn but with determination, I was able to overcome many challenges. The teacher was patient and understanding and he thought me well. It was very interesting as it shows the variety of movies from different countries with unique characteristics and ideas. It opened my eyes to see the similarities/differences in the plots of foreign films. Many of them are related to real-life events and has political themes in them. This experience certainly changed my perception of foreign films as they are very different from current Hollywood movies. These films reflect the cultures of different countries.

This module was very eye-opening as it made me view foreign films in a completely different light. Foreign films are actually very innovative and creative. They deal with hard real-life issues and are very different from conventional Hollywood films, such as ma vie de coguette which dealt with the issue of abandonment. It was quite fun even though we were exposed to a lot of content. I really enjoyed the activities, which allows us to listen to the beat of music and at the same time. Activities like the chopstick one allowed us to feel the flow of the jazz music. Overall, we had a great experience!

We just tried some special high-quality tea from Yunnan, and it tastes incredible! The fragrances were only matched by the tasted of the tea, which exudes in amazing flavour. The slightly sweet and bitter taste form the tea, lasted for quite awhile in my mouth. Sipping tea in the insence scented room was a real treat today.

Ketupat making was totally awesome, despite how ridiculously difficult it was. I have now a greater respect for all the chefs that prepare ketupats, with the coconut leaves. It it a wonderful and joyous moment when you finally complete the ketupat casing, and I would do the whole class again for the same experience

When attending this course, I learnt a lot about the history of tea, how it was invented, and how to truly appreciate it. The teacher in charge was very kind and patient in teaching and that allowed me to really enjoy this activity. The tea that we drank was very aromatic and delicious and I really managed to appreciate it well.

super fun although it was just two of us mr aru was cool taught us how to dance. at first i was quite shy to perform in front of everybody but after that i was more scared of collapsing so the stage fright was eliminated. was tiring but definitely interesting. 10/10 will try again

Learning to make dumplings was overall a very fun and enriching experience. First, we learnt about the origin and history of dumplings and the names of different parts of China. We were taught about the various types of rice balls and dumplings, something unique and new today. Making the dumplings were fun as we were able to use our own hands to make them. What was interesting was the fact that we were able to spot our friends' mistakes and help to correct them. Later, we had a chance to try out our own dumplings and I learnt that the more pepper we add, the more taste it kills. Now, my classmates and I finally know how to make dumplings.

The traditional games was a very fun and interesting experience. We were able to play all sorts of games like the Chapteh, Five stones and Kuti-Kuti. The games were enriching and it was an eye-opener. We were able to experience the games played by our parents but it was slightly challenging

From this module, I have learnt that art is not an expensive hobby and can be done by anyone. I also learnt how to water colour and better appreciate it. I find the activity very fun and interesting, as it was simple, yet was able to produce a decent art piece.

This was seriously a super duper duper duper fun course that was simple but effective in helping to teach me how to use photoshop I a basic but useful way! I learnt how to mask and I feel like a professional photoshopper (though I'm still far from it) hahahahahaha

We were told to make three changes to the original picture, and this was the only thing I could think of. I painted a foot with a purple head, and I added a mountain in the background. There was also the added presence of stars.

It was a fun but hard experience trying to carve the stone to get that perfect depth. Overall it was very fun and surprising as I didn't expect my own Chinese teacher to teach us.

during this module, I managed to learn two techniques- Wet on wet and making a gradient. I then implemented these two techniques into my final painting- wet on wet for the sky and gradients for the different hills. Overall, it was a good experience for me.

Chinese calligraphy required me to relax when I wrote. This feels like a form of meditation except that I'm doing something I'm the process. I also had to be patient with myself as the first few tries were bad. Only the final try (below) did I finally get the feel of the brush. In all, great session and I'd love to try it again.

The dumpling making activity was really fun and enriching as we learnt about different types of dumplings such as the wonton. It was really hands on, allowing us to make our own dumplings by folding them up into any shape and size. However, I feel that it was most fun to eat and taste them as we could see our hardwork pay off. I may even consider making some dumplings for my father during fathers day
