- The students will be introduced to the new sound /d/. Student will echo words beginning and ending with the /d/ sound. Students will find the missing words that begin with the /d/ sound to complete sentences.
Introduce the Spelling /d/ >'d'
- The teacher will model how to draw the /d/ sound. The students will repeat the motions to draw the /d/ sound multiple times using their arms to draw the /d/ sound in the air. The students will complete activity 4.1.
