Hi Mom:
How have you been doing these days? I'm writing to tell you about how I´ve been doing at this camp.

We just learned how to build and light a fire yesterday and it was beyond amazing! To be honest I was pretty scared at the beginning, though; I had never done such a thing like that and you perfectly know that fire scares me a lot, but after some minutes I realized nothing dangerous was gonna happen and I loved it, it's been the most interesting activity so far.
Apart from that, we learned how to build a shelter, how to navigate in both day and night and the worst part, we learned how to survive extreme weather. I definitely hated the last activity, it rained a lot and there were many peals of thunder, it was scary! I couldn't sleep that night.

Nevertheless, I realized that I'm mature enough to be far from home and feel safe because I know that I have enough knowledge to survive on my own.

However, I of course made tons of friends, they're all pretty mature here and I love it!

I completely loved this course, I've learned a lot from Bear Grylls and my friends, I'm feeling so confident about myself right now and this camp totally helped me to achieve that state of mind, I'll always be thankful for that.

Hey Dad:
how are you doing?, im writting you to tell you about my experience of what i´ve been doing.

you know that i´ve been practising different extreme sports like bungee jumping or scuba diving i also took a course of how to survive in the jungle this course was a big experience when it finishes i felt very exhaust cause´ they teach us how to make a campfire or how to avoid fighting with a wild animal and i also realize that my best friend was taking the same course as me and apart from that i also learn how to cook without a real kitchen so now i know how to cook with hot rocks.

i hope i can tell more about my experience but now i´m about to go to practice parasailing so i´ll wirte you again as soon as i can.

Hi family in home,

This camp is the best place in the world!
Here we make a lot of interesting and fun activities, while we also learn some things.

We do mountain climbing (in a low one of course), how to build a little shelter with sticks and leaves, and also we learned how to make a fire camp to stay warm. Is just like in movies.
I really feel very happy and excited that I'm here. Also i have met a lot of new people and friends. Some of them are new into this, like me, and others have been here years before.
And you won't believe who i met. Bear Grylls himself! In TV he looks like a savage man, but he actually is very kind and nice, and teachs us very good.
This is one of the best experiences so far, and I'm looking into this things to learn more. Next year, I'll bring you brother. You will like it.

Well, I have to go. Tomorrow we have to wake up early.

Hey mom,
What's up? I hope you are all well at home. I need to tell you about last week at the camp that was completely amazing and a bit dangerous.
First of all, on monday we parachuted from the helicopter ,the view of the city was completely incredible I literally felt like a bird , Pablo didn't jump becuase he regret at the last minute ,he lost it. Also, I've learned how to run through a forest fire Bear gave us a good and a terrying class of that I was so scared but at the end I could complete it with other friends.
Apart from that,we did an extremely mountain climbing we saw a lot of beautiful animals and landscapes I took so many photos and videos that i`m sending you at this night if I caught the enough internet connection. On thuersday,Bear taught us how to eat all kinds of insects i really hated it,anyway everyone did it because we are on this camp to learn different things, so we did it but not with all our enthusiasm. Next year could be great that we come back here.
I had better go to sleep right now because tomorrow we have more cool activities.

Hey momma,
Here everything is cool, is being wild; so sorry for not sending you an email for too long, but my phone died and i was trying to spend most of the time here.

I'm going to tell you something that is gonna impress you. I made a bonfire, i know you can belive it but i literally made most of the things that i told you, i would never. I literally learned how to biuld a tend by myself, how to filter the water also i learned how to climb a mountain.

Here its being great and rather enviable but at the same time its a beatifull experience, because i literally live with the animals, here we can see the best sunsets and i have met the best people in my life, they are literally so pure. Everyday is so different and you can learn a lot of differents things like, we climbed a entire mountain, also we ate snakes (unbelievale), insects, and plants also i told you i would never kill an animal, so sorry but here you need a lot of proteine.

I really loved this experience mom and i guess someday i will do it again, also i have some gifts for you that i got them here.

I wil be there next week, see you soon.

Hey mom,
How are you doing? In case you're wondering , I'm fine, I hope you and my dad are too. The Bear Grylls's course is super interesting and fun.

I´ve made some friends, they are very funny and afraid of any of the extreme sport that we've practiced so far, they are very good when it comes to applying the survival techniques that we've learned. However, I couldn't say the same for me as you know I'm a bit scared, and yesterday we'd to do a survival exercise and I wasn't prepared for that as we'd to stay a whole day in the forest without food or a tent to spend the night, that was the worst night I've ever lived. all the mosquitoes wouldn't let me sleep as they wouldn't stop biting my beautiful skin. The good thing is that Mr. Grylls was with us and helped us. I learned new survival techniques and I know that one day I will apply them when we go camping with the whole family or maybe when I travel alone.
Probably I will write you twice a week, and tell you what progress I made that week or that day

Hi parents,

How’ve you been? I hope both of you are OK. I’ve been meaning to write to you since I arrived to Young Survivors. I just want you to know that I’m fine. Actually, I’m really excited to be here. I have a lot to tell you about this camp!

First of all, I’ve met the professional adventurer Bear Grylls who has taught me survival techniques recently. Also, I’ve met a lot of nice people here. What about you?

Then, some activities I’ve been doing are: build and light a fire, navigate in both day and night, building a shelter, extreme weather survival, tracking, and tying knots. What do you think? pretty awesome, right?

In case you’re wondering, I’ve felt free and worried doing them because there may be cases where dangers happen, so these techniques would help you.

This whole experience made me feel disconnected from the real world in which I usually live every day. Also, These days I’ve been more connected to nature, trying to do new experiences I’ve never done before. I would like to go camping with you two and experience new things together in the near future.

Hey mom!
hope you are well and safe.

I´ve been having a great time here.

I was really nervous the first day but now i´m really confortable with everyone. For example the first week I barely talk to anyone whereas now I´ve made so many friends.

The weather is nice and warm therefore we spent a lot of time doing water related activities so we can refresh ourselfs.

Early this morning we went to the local lake and swim there all morning.
Later we spent most of the day learnig really awesome and useful stuff.

The people here are awesome and super helpful so please dont worry.

They had taught me a lot and about survival skills, insects and plants.

We see a lot of beautiful insects here and they dont bother much.

I have to go now the guys are serving dinner and we have to help them.
I apologize for not writing you much but at the end of the day i just feel so tired I can´t even write.
Love you and write me when you can.

Hi mom and dad!
I was wondering how you are doing; I haven’t seen you in about two months and a lot of things have happened in this time, I would like to tell you about everything that I’ve done and learnt during these couple of months. When I arrived here, I was completely lost and thought that I wasn’t going to learn a single thing! But all changed so quickly when I met Mr Grylls (that’s how I call him because I think it sounds respectful), he’s been so informative and eager to teach a lot of useful things.

We’ve started doing a lot of activities like climbing, learning to purify dirty water, fishing, lighting a fire, etc. I’m going to be completely honest; learning all those new skills felt amazing and I felt so proud of myself when achieving a goal. As I said, I’ve learnt a lot of useful skills, but I’ve also learnt new values and reinforced my virtues, I learnt to never forfeit in spite of how many mistakes I commit, and more importantly I’ve mastered the art of teamwork, because although we are taught how to survive alone, we also receive lessons of how to work together to improve our surviving skills. Thanks to the sessions of team skills’ development, I’ve met a lot of amazing people and made a few friends that I would like to introduce to you once I come back home.

So far, I’m doing great and I’m truly proud of my progress. You should try this once; it just releases your inner self and allows you to be in touch with nature. I’ll keep you posted for further experiences. I hope you are doing fine. I love you!

How are things?I'm writing to you this email due to I miss you so much and I want you to know how much fun I am having here.
The first week we spent time doing integration activities to make friends and get to know each other well.I felt a bit uncomfortable because they all seem like they've known each other years ago.Anyways,the activities wasn't as bad as I expected.
We hop for three minutes while we were describing our favorite food.It was funny,everybody was shaken.Another activity was wandering with your eyes blinded and the person you reach is going to be your partner during all the camp.
I made some friends,they are very talkative,just like me.We get on well and I enjoy their friendship.
I'm writing this to you because I wanted to thank you for bringing me here.It really helped me to solve my problems and distract my mind.

What’s going on?
I hope you're doing well, I miss you a lot and I have to tell you about everything I've been through.
I spent a few days in a camp and it was a very euphoric experience, as you know I love the challenges and this was certainly one of them, we had to carry out somewhat dangerous activities and everyone had to show courage!
If you ask if I had a bad time, the answer is no, the coaches were very good with me and helped me overcome every obstacle.
I know that you would have liked to see me compete and win, I want you to be here with me and do all these things together ): Anyway, I won't be sad, the good thing about everything is that I made two friends, are called alex and mike they are very fun, they made my stay here was one of the best.
Bear grylls is certainly something I will never forget, I would like to go back with my brother, it would be funny to see him do all these activities, I probably laugh so much.
Now I'm coming home but I'll be a little late, so I wrote this email because I want you to know how it was on my vacation.

Hi mom and dad:

Hope you´re doing great. I´m extremely grateful for the opportunity you gave me, I love in here! It´s one of the best experiences I´ve ever had! I feel so connected with nature and the people here is so heartwarming. I made a new friend, Hudson, he´s Italian and the sweetest boy in the camp.

You´re probably wondering what am I doing here. Well, when we arrived, we built up our camp and I learnt how to position my tent safely. My group and I went fishing to a river. One of the guides helped me and Hudson, because we had no idea about how to do it.

When the night arrived, we collected some longs and leaves to make a fire. We learnt many different ways to turn it on. Once it was all set up, we sat around it with our hot chocolates and sang songs from other countries! Later, we made our ways to our tents to sleep.

Today, at the morning, we had our breakfast with a lecture: the guides taught us how to make some bracelets with ropes. I made one for you, mom! We´re now waiting for the lunch while we play in the forest: we´ll have a first-aid course after lunch.

I´ve been feeling super good these days, all the experiences made me stronger, and we still have more activities!

I don’t have more time.. I send you all my love from here. I miss you!

Hi, mom and dad
How are you doing? I hope everything's okay because, wow, I'm spending the best days here in the camp! We started the weekend with survival classes with the leader of our group "The wolves". Her name is Isabella, and she's the best! We've spent some time learning some self-defense tactics, and at night we sing around the fire and listen to Sam's guitar. You must be wondering who Sam is. I met her on the first day of the camp. When I was going to my table with my breakfast, a girl bumped into me. It was terrible, my clothes were stained by the juice as well as his pants. I felt a bit angry because I was very hungry, but I let it go and went with her to clean our clothes. While we were doing that, we started talking and became friends. I love spending time with her, especially the swimming ones, where we play underwater! All the classes are fun, I love the climbing class and the survival cooking class. I was amazed when the teacher taught us to light a fire with a stick and a rock. Amazing, right? I'm really happy because I made a lot of friends here. I can't wait for you to meet them. Oh! I forgot the competition, have to go! I'll write to you later!

Hi, mum!

I've had some amazing days on this great Bear Grylls course, so I want to tell you about some things that I’ve been doing.

Since the first day we started to do incredible activities relationated with survival and the nature and I really enjoy that a lot. We learned how to build a fire and how to light it, also how to build a shelter.

At first, I thought it might be a bit difficult and tiring, but then I realized that it was not, you have to focus and look positively and you feel so relaxed with all the activities.

Something that I have learned these days is that it is important to know about some basic things of nature, like how to navigate in both day and night or how to survive in extreme weather, because you don't know when you'll need it.

We've had some team activities and I have been able to make new friends and I feel very happy about that, it is very comforting to meet new people who do the same activities that you do, like the ones we have learned in this course.

I'm very grateful to have come to this course and have learned techniques of survival in the nature, also to have meet amazing people, maybe I'll back in the future, of course if you let me.

I’ll be in house in a few days, I miss you a lot, take care!

Hi, Mom!
How's everyone over there? I hope everything is going well.
I’m writing you because first i miss you so much, but the bright side is that i’m having an amazing experience whit this camp.
When i arrived we were separated into groups, i met our coach of the team and then my teammates.
The coach gave us some techniques to be able to stay stable in the activities we were going to do, you won’t be to imagine all the extreme adventures that i’m having! I feel like i’m losing a lot of fears and that males me happy.
Before i forget, don’t worry because yes! I’m taking many photos so that later you can see them with my grandmother.
The things that I liked the most is being in the forest with wild animals, also i learned to climb mountains although at first I was staggering a lot but in the end I succeeded! The bonfires at night are the most beautiful because we share anecdotes of the day and it’s very funny to hear everything that happens to us.
Definitely it’s the best experience of my life, I am loving these moments especially because I get along very well with my new friends.
I will write to you again in one of these days, kisses to all.
