The national health insurance covers all types medical service, inpatient care, prescription drugs, long term care, outpatient services, diagnostic procedures, even dental and vision care are funded. Transportation to clinics is even reimbursed in France.
Everyone has access to healthcare services in France, even the unemployed. The French government stands in solidarity with the unemployed and provides full reimbursement  for medical services.
