They were up in their face at times, during their events. During the employability skills event, one of my students mentioned that the camera was in his face the entire time during his interview, which made him more nervous. One of my students was asked to "walk" for the camera 4+ times just for them to get a shot. We advocate for our students to speak up and engage as part of their civic duties, yet when they have the chance to voice their opinion, they are shut down. I had students who wanted to discuss controversial legislation being passed that affects their futures. But they were advised not to because they represent JAG.
