A software that allows its users to create timelines, diagrams, charts, and technical drawings. This can be useful for students and teachers as it allows students to use their creativity to plan, think, and project and allows for system integration with other platforms such as Goggle and it's great for lesson planning. For my social studies class, this can help the students to understand how a timeline works and students can create points in history, historical event diagrams, and other charts so that students can better understand these certain points in history. It will help the students to become more actively engaged in the classroom and will allow them to interpret what we have gone through in the classroom.

SmartDraw can help students to incorporate visualization skills when they are learning or wanting to show something that they are learning. SmartDraw can be great for students who are EL learners or students who have disabilities like Dyslexia, ADD, APD, ext who would benefit more from visual learning. These types of learners would be able to use SmartDraw to help them with their essays or doing projects that deal with timelines, which will make it easier for the student and for us the teacher to be able to understand on how they are interacting with the content, which makes it enjoyable for the student/s

As educators SmartDraw will be able to help us to show students that there are different ways to think, and it would help them to show that different thinking. The tool can help either help the student share their thoughts in a creative element, or it can make it more of a challenge for the student to show others their own thoughts on the subject.

For Social Studies, my students will be able to access G Suite with will help them collaborate with each other, I as the teacher will be able to collaborate with my fellow teachers. The tool is a great singular platform that keeps all of the student's assignments, which makes it easier to provide immediate feedback so the students would not have to wait and will be able to fix any issues right away. The tool makes it easy to create a lesson plan, making projects for the students, and classroom conversation, it also makes it easier to help with getting students engaged in the work as well as organized which is a big thing when it comes to students.

When it comes to EL or students with disabilities this app can help provide individual support and it can track the progress of all learners, the students would also be able to access the lessons and lectures at home, it can also help them take notes, and take the assignments at their own pace, where they can get the help from their families as well as their teachers so that they do not fall behind.

Google for Education allows us to show students not only how to communicate with their fellow peers, but other students as well that are not in the classroom and other countries, who happen to be working on the same kind of project or content. The tool will help the student to expand their knowledge and get access to information with other peers with close supervision. The students are taught online skills which can be practiced in a safe environment.

For Social Studies this tool will help me make quick quizzes on the content that we are learning as well as the vocabulary that the content has which will allow me to check the students knowledge about the subject manner. The tool can help the students learn the foundation information of the content by testing their ability to navigate and understand the content manner and their writing for essays. The tool can make taking quizzes more engaging with the use of a countdown feature, because it will make it fell more like a game than an actual quiz. The tool also allows teachers who teach upper-level classes such as 7th to 12th grade to create separate classrooms for each of their class periods, it also allows the teacher to put in lesson differences between similar courses depending on the progress of each class.

The tool is great for all kinds of learners ELL's, students with disabilities, gifted, and regular students because it helps each the teacher to understand which student needs help, where the students' knowledge is from all of the data that the tool collects. The tool is engaging for the students by making the assessments engaging and inviting by making the quizzes more active, it also allows the students to participate in the assessment anonymous.

Students are able to use their phones to help with their learning and their understanding of how tools like Socrative can help with their learning. It is a great tool to help make students feel like they can engage in the classroom and tests instead of just feeling like they are being taught on how to pass a test. It makes is more centered on content learning than just test learning.

For Social Studies, the students will be able to access this tool to start doing their assignments, the assignments are set up by week it is setup as 1.1 to 1.5 were they have a quiz at the end of the week, which is than followed by a test. I as the teacher will be able to look at the students progress and see how they are doing. The teacher is able to unlock certain assignments for students if they have a score that is lower than 65%. The tool also allows the students to work at their own pace as well as at home. The tool makes it easy for teachers to create lesson plans, make projects for students. It makes it easier to help students to get engaged in their work as well as organized, the tool also has games that help engage students in what they are learning, brainstorming, and online activities.

For diverse learners the tool has a lot of methods that the teacher can use, such as letting the students learn at their own pace, translations, at home where they do not have to worry about anyone judging them, it has multiple methods of content presentation, support tools, which makes it enjoyable for the student/s.

As an educator the tool will be able to help us to show to the students that there are different ways to think. It allows the students and the teacher to connect and make the learning experience more personal. The teacher is allowed to lock assignments so that students do not get ahead of the class, as well as allows students to work at a pace where they do not have to worry so much about being rushed and can retake the assignments and quizzes and tests multiple times before they can move onto the next assignment.

Technology tools

Webroom: Is a virtual classroom where students are put into a classroom that is a mix of peers and students from different schools, who are in the same 11th grade History class and learning the same content. The students will be able to use this tool to engage with their peers in discussions, share and collaborate their ideas and work during these classroom meetings.

Google Docs and slides:

Google docs and slides is a program that is withing the Google Suites tool which allows the students collaboration when they are creating their essays or presentation projects. The students will be able to use the program to help with the discussions and to collaborate with their peers when in Webroom and bring back to their home classrooms.

Directions

Students will be put into groups randomly with the other classroom from Webroom, will be discussed with the other teacher.

Students will be given information about Ancient Greek Myths. They will be given a week to do the research on the Myth their group received. This will happen before they meet up with the other class.

The students will than compare and discuss what they have researched with the other class members of their team, they will help each other outline how they are going to make a presentation in their home classroom.

Students from both classes will than assign parts to each member as they work together on the project.

The students will work together with the other class for a period of 2 weeks as they work on their presentations that they will share with their home classrooms, that follows the rubric.

Analysis

This activity will help students learn how to use technology to work together with people that are not in their own classroom and area. Students need to learn to work together with people who are diverse and have a different point of view, which will help them to expand their way of thinking as well as the knowledge that they know about the subject matter. It will help them to work with people from different diverse backgrounds and have a different way of thinking when they are older and working. Technology is key for this project because it enables the students to work together and successfully achieve a great grade by following the rubric. This is why it is important that the students can grasp ways on how to do research and not just follow one side, so that they can contribute to a group activity that has different point of views and perspectives.

Field trips can be so fun and informative for students, but it isn’t always easy to drop everything and go on a field trip due to funding and academic obligations, among other reasons.

MicrosoftTeams:

Is a virtual classroom where students can meet with their teacher and their peers who are in the 11th grade in Social Studies. The students will be able to use this tool to engage with their fellow students and the teacher for discussions, share their ideas with one another, have assignments posted which they can do at anytime and during their classroom meetings.

Microsoft Office 365:

The students will be able to write notes as they watch the videos from the virtual field trip, they will be able to collaborate with other students as they work on their essays that I assigned them in the begging of the class, they can even speak to write the paper while they watch the video that is presented in the classroom.

Directions:

Students will be assigned a subject manner that deals with the American Revolution. Such as a person such as George Washington or King George the 3 of Brittan.

The students will than pick a video from the virtual field trip that will give them as much information as possible as well as do the research that is given to them from the text that is placed in Microsoft teams. They will have 3 days to do this.

The students will than form an outline of their project and the research that they gathered with the teacher and work on an outline which will take 2 days to work on.

Once the outline has been approved the students will have 2 days to work on their essay about the subject and they need to mention the field trip that they looked at.

The students will than present their work to the class, which will take 2 days to complete.

Analysis:

This technology will help students to learn how to gather information that is from resources that are not one sided, it will allow them to learn how to write make an outline as well as how to take notes as they watch videos through the virtual field trip. They will also learn how to expand on the knowledge that they think they now as they learn from people from different background on what they think on the content that they choose. This is why technology in History is important because the students will be able to contribute different points of view and perspectives.
